How do i make mp3 into the best HD?

I have some mp3's that i convert to wma and make music remixes with windows movie maker and they sound great but i think it needs more HD placed on to my videos. Anybody know of any tricks or free software that can improve the sound quality to maximum or it stays at the quality it is when its made.
