Got rear-ended and received a citation?

I think I would be calling internal affairs and find out why the cop behind you was following too close and didn't get a ticket. Any licensed driver needs to keep a safe distance behind the car in front.... just in case they need to stop short. I would definitely go to court, and ask what an "unsafe movement to the left" is and if it is safer to hit the car in front of you than worry about whether the car behind you is such an idiot that they can't keep a safe distance.
