File converter for 655.55mb, for free?

I have some .avi files that I need to be either .wma or another file that my iPod can play as a video. I need it for free, and most converters I usually use can only handle 100 mb and each is 655.55 mb, and I don't want to split them into parts. Or if you know why my iPod won't let me add the .avi files to my iPod movie library, please help.
