1993 Jeep Cherokee- everyone asking for twice what it's worth?

I'm browsing for a different vehicle and like the Cherokee, but every time I see a '93 - '95 model the seller is asking for at least $2500. KBB has it at about a thousand dollars less than that? Any idea why that might be?
